Testing Technician

Job description

Atlantic Radon is looking for reliable, hard working and willing to learn individuals to conduct Radon Testing.

Our company is growing quickly and is seeking applicants that are interested in expanding their roles as we grow. This role could expand into estimating radon mitigation systems, diagnosis and repairs of existing systems.

Our goal is to inform our customers about radon exposure and give them an idea of the average exposure in the location tested.

We will provide training and tools. No Experience necessary. Just be willing to learn a new industry. This is a remote job and you will not have to report to an office. The schedule is flexible.

The job duties consist of the setup and retrieval of radon testing devices from different residential and commercial buildings around Maryland. Sending reports out to the office or to our clients. You will be trained and certified in the AARST-NRPP protocols for radon testing.

Must have reliable transportation. We operate from the Frederick Area to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. During the interview process we can discuss your actual service area(s) and the specifics of driving distance and schedule.

Hourly pay based on relevant experience. Compensation for fuel and possibly other vehicle expenses.

If interested there are also opportunities to work in the field with radon mitigation or as a sales person selling radon testing and mitigation.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 – $20.00 per hour

Skills Required: Professional appearance, The ability to have a professional conversation with clients, A reliable vehicle, basic computer knowledge sending emails and using apps on an iPad.

Optional Advanced Skills: Previous environmental testing experience, Radon Experience.

License/Certification: Driver’s License (required)

Radon Mitigation Technician / Technician Helper

Job description

Atlantic Radon is looking for reliable, hard working and willing to learn individuals for Radon Mitigation System Installation. Our goal is to reduce the radon exposure and eliminate the health risks associated with radon exposure as much as possible.

Our company is growing quickly and is seeking applicants that are interested in expanding their roles as we grow.

We will provide training and tools. Previous basic plumbing and electrical is a plus! Must have reliable transportation to meet at job sites. A work vehicle may be provided once applicant can work on their own. We operate out of 2 locations, Stevensville, MD and Frederick,MD. All job sites are within an hour drive from these locations.

Hourly pay based on relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 – $27.00 per hour

Skills Required: Use of hand tools and power tools, climbing ladders, ability to perform physical tasks, digging, lifting, carrying buckets of materials.

Optional Advanced Skills: Basic plumbing basic AC electrical, basic carpentry Radon Testing/Mitigation certifications.

License/Certification: Driver’s License (required)
