Radon has innumerable health risks and dangerous side effects. There is no acceptable radon gas limit in any area. But U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends it to be below 4 picoCuries per liter of air (pCi/L). Many areas in the US are radon affected....
If your house is radon-infected, your radon mitigation fan must work constantly. Why? If you stop the fan, the radon levels can start increasing rapidly. You need to be constantly guarding your home against it. The only to do that is to keep the fan working...

Besides the radon pump and plumbing, Tommy did a great job installing a plastic membrane over our dirt crawlspace. The system lowered typical radon counts from 11 to 1, below 4 is considered healthy. The plastic membrane knocked down the humidity in the basement which helps an area prone to mold. He was on time, respectful and priced competitively.

We are in a new construction home and did a couple radon tests that came back ~20 pCi/L. We asked Atlantic Real Estate Services to install a Radon Mitigation system, which went really well! The latest test showed less than ~0.8 pCi/L.
* Scheduling - It was really easy with scheduling time for the initial walkthrough, a day to install the system, and follow up. Tommy worked around our schedule and always messaged shortly before arriving.
* Communication - He made sure we understood each step of the process and its purpose as he went along.
* Attention to Detail - He made it blend into the house aesthetics and even filled in a few spots the builder missed.
* Cost - It's within the range we expected for this type of system. And definitely worth the quality.
I would definitely recommend this company.

I contacted Atlantic Radon about replacing a radon fan. They came out the next day to survey what the issue was and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Tommy informed me that the radon fan was out of compliance with state codes and would have to be moved to the attic from the basement. Tommy and Zack installed an electrical outlet in the attic before they installed the radon fan. As they removed the radon fan from the basement they found out that the sump pump needed to be replaced. Since they did not have a sump pump on the truck they returned 2 days latter and took care of that problem. Tommy and Zack were very professional, explained the process for both jobs, very polite and cleaned up the areas they were in. I would highly recommend them for any radon mitigation system work. Very affordable.
